DK Roofing Limited was engaged by MCL Construction to deliver the metal rooting, wall cladding, Bondor Panel and rainwater system works for the new Bayley Produce Packhouse in Hastings.
Bayley Produce is a long-established Hawke’s Bay grower, producing over 300 hectares of fruit and vegetables and supplying supermarkets and food programmes throughout New Zealand. The new facility forms a key part of their continued growth and operational expansion.
A key priority for the project was adherence to the programme requirements set by both the client and main contractor. Delivery required efficient coordination, flexibility on site, and close integration with other subcontractors to accommodate evolving construction timelines and sequencing demands.
DK Roofing successfully delivered its scope through structured planning, responsive site execution, and a strong focus on quality workmanship. The completed works support a high-performance facility that will continue to contribute to the regional economy and New Zealand’s food supply chain.
